Join in the second most favorite hobby in the country by building your very own handmade birdhouse. Colleen Winter, owner of the Wild Birds Unlimited in Shawnee will give a presentation about birds who nest in birdhouses, their characteristics, types of birdhouses, how to take care of them, etc. Shawnee Town even has two bluebird houses on the farmstead we can observation. Fingers crossed bluebirds will be nesting in them! The class fee includes all materials for your birdhouse and the presentation by Ms. Winter.
The fee for this class is $13 per person, please call the Museum at (913) 248-2360 to get registered. Space is limited, so don't delay!
