7:00 pm – 8:30 pm

Escape the winter blues and join us for a fun month of strumming one of the most popular musical instruments of the 1920s! Instructor David Firman, Ukulele teacher and Founding Member of the Kansas City Ukesters, will be leading this 4–class series on learning the basics, starting with an introduction to the fundamentals and progressing to advanced chords, finger picking and more advanced strums. This class is great for those completely new to ukulele and will give you a solid foundation to continue playing and learning in the future. Instruments are provided. Participants will also leave with sheet music for a variety of popular tunes featuring the different chords and techniques you’ll try.

This class is appropriate for ages 14 and up. Please click here to sign up! Class will be held at 7:00 pm every Thursday in February – 2/2, 2/9, 2/16, and 2/23. March 2nd will be a makeup date in case of inclement weather. Class will be in our newly remodeled Workshop Space across from the Town Hall, formerly the Trail Café.
