Ukulele 101 – Beginners Workshop

Join us for a fun night strumming one of the most popular musical instruments of the 1920s! Instructor David Firman, Ukulele teacher and Founding Member of the Kansas City Ukesters, will be leading this beginner’s ukulele workshop for adults and teach the basics. Instruments are provided. Participants will leave with a basic introduction to the fundamentals along with sheet music for a variety of popular tunes.

Ukulele 102 - Intermediate Workshop

Welcome back! Instructor David Firman, Ukulele teacher and Founding Member of the Kansas City Ukesters, returns to lead this follow-up to his “Ukulele for Beginners” class. Participants will continue building on the fundamentals, using some familiar tunes with slightly more advanced chords, along with an intro to finger picking and more advanced strums. Please note: we recommend all participants complete the Beginners class before registering for this session. Instruments are provided.
