Starting your own veg seeds and transplants can be fun and is a great way to scratch that gardening itch during cloudy winter days. Whether it's getting a head start on cool season vegetables like onions, herbs, broccoli, and lettuces, or having greater access to unique varieties of tomatoes and peppers, starting your own seeds at home can take your garden to the next level. This virtual class, taught by K-State Horticulture Extension Agent Zac Hoppenstedt, will give you step by step instructions for starting your own vegetable transplants from seed including recommendations on simple setups for indoor lighting to make sure that your plants are healthy and strong.
