Description

Is your favorite toy or stuffed animal in need of a fun night out? Drop them off at Shawnee Town 1929 Museum for a stuffed animal–only sleepover! While you are snoozing away at home, your stuffed animal travels back in time and will spend the night in our 1920s town. Follow along their adventures on our Facebook and Instagram Stories, and pick them up the next day with a special photo souvenir!
Sleepover admission is $5.00. One stuffy/toy allowed per child. Drop off stuffed animals/toys to Shawnee Town 1929 Visitor Center on Friday, September 29 by 5:00 pm and pick up anytime on Saturday at the Visitor Center from 8:00 am – 5:00 pm. Pre–registration is required, please call (913) 248–2360.
BONUS: Let your stuffy take you on a museum tour before you leave and enjoy our Farm to Table cooking demonstration 10:00 am – 1:00 pm that day! Kids can experience our working woodstove and help out in the 1920s farmhouse, from pumping water to feeding our flock of chickens.
