Our favorite summer series is BACK! Bring your family and enjoy a trip back to 1929 with interactive day at our historic truck farm or recreated Shawnee downtown, every Tuesday and Thursday from June 14 to August 4. Enjoy fan favorite activities like farmstead laundry and grocery shopping along with NEW bonus activities and special guests featured each week! Each week features a new theme with different highlights, and kids can also pick up a scavenger hunt for added fun.
Programs are included with regular admission, and get in FREE all year with a Friends of Shawnee Town membership.

Explore our NEW 1920s camping tent exhibit, take a car ride through town, and learn songs for the road.
June 28 and 30 • Animal Life on the Farm
Learn about animal life on a Shawnee truck farm as we care for the chickens and visit with a milking cow.
July 5 and 7 • The American Dream
Celebrate the families of Shawnee with stories of the small business owners and their families, making your own family tree, and playing music in the square.
July 12 and 14 • Life on a Truck Farm
It’s the busy season! Time to harvest vegetables, hang laundry, wash the car, and visit the farm kitchen.
July 19 and 21 • Family Vacation
Take the family camping, 1920s style! Explore a real campsite, take a car ride, and play games in the square.
July 26 and 28 • Summer Treats at the Farm
Enjoy fresh-churned ice cream after working around the farm...and make special treats for the chickens.
August 2 and 4 • Working in Town
Do you want to be a teacher, a barber, or maybe a jazz musician? Explore the town and which career fits you!
