Get ready to go back to the 1920's with the Time Travelers living history program! There are many reasons the 20's were “roaring,” and we want you to come learn them through various activities guided by Shawnee Town Interpreters.

We have a plethora of programs being offered that change every day!
Down on the Farm, you can do laundry with a washboard and hang clothes on the line, feed the hens and our rooster, Duke, play yard games, and more! On July 17 & 19, come out to make some ice cold 1920's beverages to cool you down after a hot day! We will be hand churning ice cream on August 7 & 9! You won’t want to miss this fresh, sweet treat from the farm!
In the Garden, you can plant heirloom seeds and harvest vegetables. Sort your seeds and guess what plants they will grow into! You can wash and bundle veggies (did we mention free tastes?!) and hand till garden rows with our cultivator. Finally, color and fly your very own balsa wood airplane high into the sky!
Goin’ to Town, you can do a lesson straight from a 1920's reader and take a look at a 100-year-old map in the schoolhouse to see how the world has changed. Get to work at the Grocery Store by helping stock shelves and take orders. Bring along your doll or teddy bear to the Barber Shop for a haircut. Vintage board games will be available to play, too!
Time Travelers is a fun and exciting learning experience for the whole family! Admission is $3 for adults, $1 for children 5-17 and kids under 5 are free!
