Did you know that the Friends of Shawnee Town offer a bus subsidy to every school that visits Shawnee Town for a field trip? That’s right, every school gets $75.00 per bus to help make the field trip more affordable to the schools. We also have additional funding for Title I schools.
In 2022, the Friends of Shawnee Town gave a total of $1,275.00 in bus subsidies to twenty schools from eight different school districts.
The teachers, parents and students all gain from this support! Several schools would not be able to justify spending money on a site visit if it weren't for the support of the bus subsidy! THANK YOU Friends of Shawnee Town!
