Our popular series returns in 2023 with new featured demonstrations, speakers, and local brews!
Come explore the long arms carried by the American foot soldier from 1776–1945, and learn about the related field equipment needed to maintain and serve the weapons. From flintlock muskets to enbloc clips, learn about the historic technologies available from colonial times to the WWII “arsenal of democracy” era. Infantry small arms will be the focus, with artifacts on display exclusively for one night only! This program is presented by Museum Director Charlie Pautler.
Tickets for the program are $5.00 and includes a complimentary beverage from our evening’s featured brewery: Transport Brewing, located just down the street! Space is limited, please purchase your ticket online or call (913) 248–2360 to reserve your seats. The event will be held January 25 at 7:00 pm in the Museum’s Town Hall, located at 11600 Johnson Drive, Shawnee, Kansas 66203.
