Home school families are invited to join us for an interactive educational program at our historic truck farm and recreated Shawnee Downtown! Families will self-guide through the activity stations, including favorites like farmstead laundry and grocery shopping along with additional hands-on chores and crafts. PLUS enjoy a Mad Science interactive demonstration on Automotive combustion power and watch a cow-milking demonstration by Southwest Dairy Farmers! Plus kids can pick up a scavenger hunt for added fun.

Admission is $4 per student with 1 parent free per group. Pre-registration for either the morning session (10:00 am – 12:00 pm) or afternoon session (1:00 pm – 3:00pm) is required, so please call (913) 248-2360 to sign up. You are welcome to stay before or after your scheduled time and picnic on the grounds. Admission does not included a guided tour.
