We can’t wait to see you at the City of Shawnee’s CAN’T MISS EVENT OF THE YEAR! Old Shawnee Days will be held Thursday thru Sunday at Shawnee Town 1929 with a carnival, concessions, vendors, musical entertainment, and a Saturday morning parade. Saturday and Sunday will feature additional family-friendly activities called “Ticket to Fun” at Shawnee Town’s farmstead. Families can participate in 1920s chores including handwashing laundry, feeding the chickens, making ice cream, and relaxing in the yard with games of horse-shoe and other crafts. PLUS kids can even take a pony ride! Get your ticket stamped for completing five or more activities, and win a prize at the Visitor’s Center.
