Romance! Chariot battles! Lavish sets that mark the Golden Age of Hollywood! Join us for a special showing of Cleopatra, directed by Cecil B. DeMille and released to widespread acclaim in 1934. A lavish drama profiling the Egyptian queen and her complicated relationships with Julius Caesar and Marc Antony, the film includes some of the most memorable scenes from DeMIlle’s career.

Tickets are $5 and available through the link below. Friends of Shawnee Town 1929 are free with pre-registration by calling (913) 248-2360. Doors open at 6:00pm and the film starts at 7:00pm. Concessions will be available for purchase. The Shawnee Aztec Theater is located at 11119 Johnson Drive, Shawnee, KS 66203.
